Is South Africa in trouble?

After the nationwide protest of having Jacob Zuma, the president of South Africa, step down from his position, I cannot help but ask - is our nation in trouble?

Our nation has gone through so much in the last few years. Power shortages, water restrictions, unrest in universities, economic downfall and so much more that we know of and things we are not aware of. As soon as something springs up, people begin to talk and it becomes the hot topic whereever you go. It can seem as if the negative of all in our nation outweighs the positive.

However as you read this post, I just need to say that this is not a post stemming from pesimistic vision - but from optimistic vision.

Some of you reading this post might be aware of the many prophecies that has gone over our nation. Prophecies of a revival breakout from the southern most part of South Africa, and these prophecies have been confirmed by many intercessors and watchmen who watch over the cities our our nation. Then there are some who does not know about these prophetic words spoken over our nation. However, these words can only manifest if we take the word, nurture it through prayer and fasting and step out in faith evangelising to those hearts who are yearning for something more, and that more is God - whether they realise it or not.

Our nation and its people cry out in appeal to the true sons and daughters of God to take their place in the city. If it is a watchmen - stand at the gates and on the walls to keep watch. If it is evangelism - go out and catch fish. If it is prophecy - seek the Lord and release His Word over the people. If it is being a father - father your children! If it is being a trailblazer - burn everything in your way!

We cannot sleep and watch our nation tremble at the feet of corruption and pain. We need to awaken our hearts to the hope within the gospel that only brings good news!

On Saturday passed some of our young adults and youth went out on the trains of Caoe Town. We were on a mission to minister the true Gospel of Jesus Christ with love - ready to catch some fish for Jesus. It was beautiful to see how many of the young people along with us stepped out in boldness just after the Cape Town strike against Jacob Zuma the day before.

Many of us walked away with a testimony of our own of how we have seen God move on the trains and on Cape Town station.

As we were ministering my heart broke as God showed me His heart for the people. He wants a relationship and He burns with a passion with everyone who would give their lives to Him. He is a Father and He simply desires to have a RELATIONSHIP. He is not wanting to change the way that you dress, talk and walk. If something has to be changed, it will come as you draw closer to Him. I saw the need. I heard the cry. All I could ask myself was, "Where are the labourers?" - "Where are those who will walk out in the streets?".

Do not be dismayed South Africa. There is a message of hope! There is a message of courage! It is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. This is our power, this is our deliverance.

God is raising up a generation, a people unto Himself. One who will not be ashamed and will not be shut up by fear and terror. In fact, they will open up their mouths and proclaim the deliverance of our God - even unto death.

This is our power - it is in the Word of God!

Abba Father (poem)

Tonight as I walked in the dark I thought about what it would be like If you were here with me in flesh If you were here holding my hand ...
