End times

Lately, I have been having dreams, and a feeling that would not leave me. This feeling would trigger the thoughts of me not being here for much longer - like I am about to die very soon. What I mean by these words is that I believe that the coming of Jesus is so much closer than we could ever tell. It is as if time is going to catch up with us.

Let's look at what the Word says about part of the character of God. In Psalm 103:8 (NKJV) it says, "The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy." I think we all love the fact that God is merciful and gracious and that He is abounding in mercy, but we often times miss that He is indeed slow to anger. It does not mean that He doesn't get angry, it just means that the process thereof is a slow one - but He does get angry.

Misty Edwards says in one of her latest messages preached at the FASCINATE conference at IHOP Kansas City this year that there are 3 transitional generations where the Lord relates to humanity. Number 1 is when God communicated to Moses the law, and it was also the time of the prophets. Number 2 is when Jesus came to the earth, it was the dispensation of the Spirit. Number 3 (which we find ourselves in) is that it will be the generation of the Lord's return.

I believe that there is a terrible time coming to the earth. Just like scripture says, something that we have not seen yet before. God is still the same God as of the old testament. The bible says that God is not going to destroy the earth with water again, but with fire. The gospel of Matthew records that it will be just as in the days of Noah - so shall the coming of the Son of Man (Jesus) be. What happened in Noah's day? God had told Noah to build an ark on the sand because the rain was coming. Noah had gone out to tell all who would listen, and only a few hearkened their hearts to the outcry. The people were living their lives, eating, marrying and drinking. The lines Matthew draws across to Noah is what is happening today. Some of us heard from previous generations that Jesus was coming 10 years ago. Jesus had not come back yet, and to people it seems like the very same thing that happened in Noah's day, that it is just another ark on the sand again. They heard that the rain was coming, but they did not believe. Beloved, when the rain fell, it was too late. Jesus is coming and people have been warning us to go onto the ark. Don't let us be found outside of Him.

I believe prophetically that because time is ticking by so quickly, that God is raising up young children as young as 8, 9 and 13 year olds. Even so, some of you are reading this blog post and you might have been running in this race for a while now. Some of you were that young giving your lives to the Lord, but this was training for what is about to take place in this dispensation. There is something bigger going on, there is something much bigger.

Are we hearing what the Spirit is saying? Or are we comfortable where we are and our hearts have fallen asleep?

In what condition will we be found in when the Bridegroom returns?

Where are the watchmen?

Where are the seas?

Where are the prophets?

it is so easy to get caught up in the small - big circle of life and forget to fixate our minds on eternity. I think what I love most about Misty Edwards' ministry is that she has a revelation of eternity and it is not something a lot of preachers speak about consistently. Every moment I hear Misty's songs, her teaching and preaching - all I hear is one word infiltrating through her ministry - ETERNITY. Yet this is supposed to be every child of God's cry, but we have made our home here forgetting that we are making pilgrimage.

We find ourselves in a critical generation beloved. You are either with Him or against Him when the earth shakes to and fro. There is a great shaking coming to the earth and He is going to turn it all around. It is just a matter of time. It is just a matter of time.

BE READY! THE BRIDEGROOM IS COMING!
Maranatha!

Abba Father (poem)

Tonight as I walked in the dark I thought about what it would be like If you were here with me in flesh If you were here holding my hand ...
