The church is largely sleeping!

THE CHURCH IS TIMID! 

During worship tonight as we were worshiping and pressing into God, I could see how Holy Spirit wanted us to break through limitations. Limitations firstly that we have not pushed past in the secret place with Him, and secondly limitations as the church of Jesus Christ.

I asked myself why won't people push passed the limits? Even though the atmosphere is prepared for miracles, signs and wonders - we won't press in because simply we are maybe too tired, too relaxed and too asleep. 

"The church is largely sleeping" is one of the phrases that sticks in my head from a video clip I watched on WSOP this year. We are sleeping and raising up timid christians! 

I look at christians today and I think to myself - how would you respond with a sword to your head demanding that you renounce Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? How many of us will actually stand? Would we be able to perservere like Stephen even though we are stoned? 

Once the Holy Spirit asked me, "Do you teach your sisters how to stand in persecution?" I was so grieved in my spirit about how the Lord had asked me such a serious question. 

It is true! We are moving so rapidly within the end times closer to the second coming of Jesus. However, we are dancing in our churches, sleeping when we supposed to be praying and becoming quickly offended when the world is dying! The world is dying and the church is sleeping. 

Daniel Brink, a man I dearly look up to, said this thing -REVIVAL COMES WHEN CORRECTION COMES (paraphrased). Correction has to come to the house of the Lord first. 

We don't have power because we don't pray! 

We don't see and experience the supernatural because we are so humanistic! 

We don't have passion burning in our hearts because we are so westernised! 

It is time that the radical ones rise up! One who does not tarry in pursuing God every day, every moment because they seek His face! Those who are not afraid of declaring God's name, even unto death! 

There are so so many limitations we have between us and Jesus, and the honest truth is most of us don't know it yet! It makes me furious in my Spirit to see how people come into church every week and leave like they just got a lolly pop for the week. No! Church is where the broken are restored and where the saints are equipped. We are so fixated on everything else but God's heart. We are so far away from what His heart is actually beating for. 

We have become timid. We have become relaxed. As long as we are okay, everything is okay. 

I pray the Lord shakes us up and turns our very small enjoyable worlds upside down! I pray the Lord gives people dreams and visions leaving them weaping for their cities! 

We will still be dancing and rejoicing when judgement has come to our land and we won't even know it! 

Repent believers repent!
