Ro Journeys.. : Megan Wright come home!

This evening I write this blog with a heavy heart, as I am troubled and saddened by the announcement of a friend and someone who is like family who has been reported missing since Tuesday afternoon at 2pm.

On Tuesday evening during our church's conference, it was announced that Megan Wright has been reported as missing. She had gone to a shop in Thornton that afternoon and never returned till this moment. As this news was brought to our attention, the church began to pray. All I was thinking was, "How do I process such heavy information?" - because it was truly difficult to believe. The shock only kicked in the following day, and a thousand thoughts ran through my mind.

Tonight, two friends and I had gone through to be there with her mom and family to help support in any way we could. As we arrived we had witnessed the cars that parked in the road of the Wright family had Megan's poster stuck in the windows of their cars. People had been walking in the road sticking up posters on the lamp posts and handing it out to neighbours.

I cannot disclose too much information, as this is a very urgent and heartfelt matter. However I want to appeal to every person reading this post to do a few things for us:

1. Please pray earnestly

We can do nothing without prayer and we definitely need God's help in this situation. It is a crucial time now as time is ticking and every second counts.

Pray that the Lord opens up prophetic eyes and ears to see in the spirit where Megan could be. That intercessors and prayer warriors eyes and ears would open to such degrees that they would know exact locations of Megan and the perpetrators.

Prayer for all those who are helping out in the search of Megan Wright. Pray for divine wisdom and insight for those looking for Megan. Also pray for those who might have taken her to receive such a conviction and the fear of our God to release Megan safely into her family's arms.

Please pray for Megan's mom and brother who are being prayerful and hopeful as far as possible. That peace would be upon them and sanity in mind.

Pray for Megan's protection and peace upon her too. That the Lord would send heavenly and natural helpers her way to help her get away.

2. You have probably received the link of this blog from a friend, loved one or stranger. Please copy and paste to ten people. We truly need a lot of people to get this sharing on every social media platform. This is not a joke at all and we would appreciate your support in the biggest and seemingly smallest ways ever.

3. There are pamphlets on hard copies that are being pasted around Cape Town. We urge you to print out a few copies of the pamphlets and paste it up in the work places, streets, shopping centres and in your car.

We are often times not bothered by such news if we did not know the individual personally, but we need to help one another in this sick world. Be a support to them by showing your involvement. This is a sister, a daughter, a friend, a family member to us. We need all the support we can get. If you do know of a professional that can help investigate and search in areas of trafficking, abductions or kidnapping please contact the numbers on the posters in this blog.
