I just opened Facebook a few minutes ago to read my news feed and to my disgust I found an interesting video of our president dancing in some kind of celebration. I immediately thought how pathetic this was! Our president who is supposed to be the leader of this nation is dancing while the nation of South Africa is heading to ruins. The head of anything has an authority that has implications on so many different levels. Firstly, he or she has affects on the natural with the decisions they make and the lifestyles they live. Secondly, they can cause great spiritual implications that can lead to devastation in many ways. All this can result because of corrupt leadership.
We wonder why so many bad things are happening to our nation, why so many immoral things are happening right before our eyes. It all comes down from the leadership. Rebellion and lawlessness are ever increasing in our cities, because we see it so blatantly in government on national television.
Nelson Mandela and those in the fight for freedom fought a great battle for us to have this privilege of voting for who we desire to have in power. Yet, you see how people are just not bothered with voting and having a say in government. We all know where that vote goes, straight to the dominating party. Then you have those who continually vote for the ANC after all that has happened. Why have so many uneducated, lawless and power-tripping continue leading a nation that is halfway to shambles and pieces?
The land has been dedicated to idols and dead spirits to rule and reign in the unseen realm. Ever since then we have experienced nothing but death, excuse the pun. Death in our economy, death in society and death in the spirit. How dare we allow our nation to be run by spirits of the dead? What did we expect to happen?
I have a question to the church firstly. Are you praying profusely for our nation and leaders? I only know of a handful of those who really pray for the nation. All the rest are simply complaining and too bothered with their own lives. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says "If my people..." Not anyone else, but those who belong to Jesus, if they humble themselves, pray, seek God's face and turn from their wicked ways then He will hear from heaven forgive our sin and heal our land. Let's humble ourselves people of God, let's put time aside to bring the land before our Heavenly Father for He is able to change our nation! This is part of being proudly South African.
We need to be found working together to reach out to the lost. We need to be found in the prayer rooms around our cities. There has to come a unity and a breaking of differences. We need our daily programmes to fail miserably so that the Spirit of God can change lives for real. For too long we are fixed on our methods and man-made laws while there is a fight between the kingdoms of darkness and light.
My next question is to everyone who calls themselves a South African. What are you doing to bring change? Are you just adding oil to the fuel with your negative words and actions? Or are you actually doing something with your life? Cast your votes wisely when it comes to the time of voting. For these are all part of great decision making to help our land go in the right direction first spiritually then naturally.
It is time for Zuma to go, for he has brought corruption and embarrassment to our name as a nation. Make wise decisions, make strong decisions.
It is time for a people to arise! It is time to fight in our inner closets! It is time to declare and decree the Word of God in the streets and anywhere we can go! Stop with the busy schedules and start reaching out today! There is an urgency in the Spirit! Start to prophecy!
