The walls in my heart are crumbling down
Into the ever depths of the deep waters of my soul
For every ounce of strength is being tested and tried
To leave only what was meant to stand
I see Hope as she stands beyond the distant shores
Of waves crashing back and forth
Throwing everyone overboard from the safety places within their boats
And she calls out to me
Saying, "Hold on, hold"
For her words are backed by prayers and intercession
From good deeds and kind gestures
She gives me strength by the way she looks at me
From what she spoke to me weeks before
It's hard to trust where you cannot see
Yet it is what He requires of me
She says, "He knows, He has seen it all
From sunrise to sunset
He has His eye on you
For didn't He tell You He would never leave?"
I see someone standing next to Hope
Someone who has understood me since time has begun
For His Name is Councillor
One moment He was standing next to her
Next He was gone
Before I knew it, He was whispering in my ear
Sweet words of faithfulness
As He said these things
I saw three people come alongside Him
For Hope has brought Faith and Love
And Love stood out among them
As the fears in my heart had been stirred and lifted
Love had come to destroy that which they had planted
I heard wars and rumblings
Of implosion and destruction
For frustration and hope had crossed paths
As ancient promises and current trials went head to head
There is more to what the eye cannot see
As He stands so close to me
Yes, He carries me
He carries me
In weakness, in strength
He carries me
