South Africa in its current state

Anyone in their sober minds, whether a citizen or an outsider, can see that South Africa is in a place of turmoil and rebellious uproar. In all spheres of parliament, social spheres and even flowing into our educational environments has all become a headline on the news to watch and something for people to talk about.

I opened up a video of one of the representatives of the DA yesterday and I got chills as this leader had challenged our very unjust and unruly president right in the face. He spoke about what a president should be like and confronted our president to say that he is not that president he was referring to. It felt like church for a couple of seconds as the parliament members were agreeing and shouting with support to what the DA ambassador said. As I was watching this I also remembered all the other news feed I have opened this week about how pathetic students are acting on UCT campuses and how things have just turned around regarding the value of the rand and even to our drought that is affecting so many influences of normal living. I asked myself why, and it was like I got an answer immediately. If the president of this country is not living a just lifestyle, not living with integrity and the people's needs at heart, then how would the nation live if he is leading them? Well that is self explanatory right? A people reflect who their leader is, they become the very image of who they follow. In leadership you ought to produce and train, but I am in total question if our president is even worthy of being called a leader.

We ought to pray for our government, that is what the Word of God teaches us. However, I believe that God is able to remove whatever person is standing in His way and allow a people to emerge to speak the Word of truth. We see it all the bible, He removed kings and replaced them if they were full of themselves and did it their own way. We are reminded that also the proud will come to a fall and that the humble will be raised up. It is a principle.

I do also believe that God is raising up a generation who will speak truth and the truth will set the people free. We cannot speak lies and expect to get the results of what truth does.

I mean we have dedicated our nation to dead men and women who have gone before us. This is an abomination in the eyes of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We should not be in communication with the dead directly or through mediums. This will be the wrath and judgement of God on a nation, because He has spoken many words of prophecy concerning our nation, but if we go against what He says then judgement will come. We complain about the drought, we complain about everything else, but we forget there is a God who watches over the peoples of the earth and He will bring judgement in due time.

I was at Passion Cape Town 2016 Tour last week Saturday and I saw 30 000 people gather together to worship and seek the Lord face. I begin to think now what if 30 000 people were really, genuinely passionate about seeing a city changed and even a nation turned upside down for Jesus then it ought to have happened already. Maybe in due time some might say, but maybe in due time then we due some sort of restraint and constraints in the land. Why wait? Who are we waiting on? Did God not say, go therefore and make disciples of all nations?

We need a leader who is God fearing and not god fearing. I am not talking about all the other gods, all these foreign gods. I am talking about the only God who loves, God Elohim Jehovah, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We need holy people in governmental spheres and influences in our high ranking decision making circles. We need watchmen on the walls who will not give the Father rest until Jerusalem is made a praise in the earth.

How far are we going to wait? How long shall we be complacent as a country? Was all that Nelson Mandela did was to bring freedom so that we must have Black-apartheid and not White-Apartheid? Why contain your mouth when you see the unjust in your surroundings?

May a fearless people of truth arise and be a voice in this nation! May a holy people walk in the authority given to them to take things captive in the unseen. May there be an awakening so that the rain of the heavens can rain down first in the spirit and then in the natural!

Awake, awake oh sleeper!!

Abba Father (poem)

Tonight as I walked in the dark I thought about what it would be like If you were here with me in flesh If you were here holding my hand ...
