Royalty

I have been pondering a lot on wealth creation for a long time, even before I even understood the term properly, it has been a part of my questions and answers. After watching Dr. Cindy Trimm preach about knowing who you are in Christ on YOUtube, I have been on a high ever since. So much so that I watched it over and over and over again. In this segment she ministers on knowing who we are wealth wise, dream wise and knowing who we really are and not by what we do.

Royalty is a term that the westernised world does not really understand. We submit under government and presidential leaders but we don't really understand what it means to live under a king, in kingship. As believers of Jesus Christ we are heirs of the kingdom of God. The day we said yes to a covenant relationship with God Elohim is the day we opened the door to a kingdom which is beautiful and amazing. So we serve a King, but not just any king, but the King of all kings, the highest authority in all of heaven and earth. I don't know much about serving in an earthly kingdom, but what I do know is that to be close to the king is the best position to be in. Whether it be a son or a queen, we share some sense of authority.

We have been called a royal priesthood and a holy people unto Him who sits on the throne according to 1 Peter 2:9 and surely we do not share in His authority but we do have authority He has given us like that in Genesis 1 where God Elohim said take dominion.

With that said, today myself and a few friends walked to take a taxi home after work. We refused to get into a taxi that was almost full and only had seats which were not pleasant at all. As we refused the taxi guard insisted and we just stood one side as he got a little upset. In that moment I thought, well this is my money and I decide in which taxi I want to sit and where I want to sit because I am paying for a service. Then as I arrived home and I settled in, I got a phone call from a call centre in Durban. I already knew some boring offer was going to be made after the caller monotonously pitched to me. Not to waste the dear man's time, I told him that I was not interested. After I said I am not interested in his package deal, he told me that many other people declined the deal but after he explained the deal to them they changed their minds and though it was a good idea to take the package. Now first of all, I am not like the many other people who he spoke to and secondly he was really wasting my time. Then I ended the call because I didn't want to listen any more and he practically forced to sell me this deal.

Now to some people this might seem really rude or arrogant, which I really am not, if you really knew me. However one thing I have learnt after watching Dr. Cindy Trimm is not to keep my mouth when the opinion is needed. For too long the Body of Christ has been seen and living as slaves, but we are sons of THE KING. We need to know who we are. We are not some people from a church where the mouse is poor, but we are from an unshakeable kingdom that is a powerful force to be reckoned with.

I have decided I will not be talked down to or to be ridiculed for being who I am, too loud or too unconventional. Jesus knew who He was when He lived on the earth. The day he saw all the terrible things happening in the house of His Father is the day He turned that place upside down and kicked everyone out. Humility is not allowing people to walk over you, that is abuse. Humility is surrender to the king and not keeping yourself higher than another.

We ought to be lowly in God, but we also need to know who we are in our lowliness. He was a Servant yet a King. I believe this is the season where the church is going to rise and take dominion and many people are not going to like it. But we are not so called's or make believe's, we are the real deal, the real royal people. People who will not be afraid to turn the world upside down or legislate a thing as our God says.

We are not walk overs, push overs and doormats. We carry power in our wombs and we carry life and death in our mouths. We are not like the world out there, neither are we afraid of what they think or say. We are royalty and the sooner you realise that, the quicker you start knowing who you are.

In the same breath, we should not be struggling. There are seasons where we go through the trial, but poverty is not our portion. There is a time coming where the wealth of the wicked will be delivered into the hands of the righteous ones. The Lord gave us a promise that we have the ability to create wealth, and He also gave us many principles we ought to follow to walk in that breakthrough but we are not following them.

Let's take ground in the spirit and in the natural.

Shalom.

Abba Father (poem)

Tonight as I walked in the dark I thought about what it would be like If you were here with me in flesh If you were here holding my hand ...
