The fault in man

As I am preparing for what the Lord wants me to do regarding the first music project I am busy with, I am seeing the fault more in our kind, in mankind.  How much we are in need of that man, that God Jesus and what He has done for us. 

We are literally nothing. We are just a mere speck of dust in the eyes of our Master. We are so deserving of the wrath of God, but all we were ever shown was the love of Jesus, God's only begotten Son! He is terrifying! God the Father is terrifying. He is love but that love is an all-consuming fire!  That is why Jesus had to come, so that the judgement that we deserved because of sin was lifted, if we turned to Jesus and made Him Lord of our lives. 

I had a dream once of God the Father, and people were trying to put a price to Him. He was in the form of a big lion, and there was darkness all around, like that after a war. Then I heard a voice saying, "If it was not for Jesus God the Father would have killed us all". I woke up terrified! 

Now yes there are some out there who thinks that God is all love and the grace of the Lord is sufficient.  And indeed it is! He is love and His grace is sufficient. But do we ever look at the scriptures about the wrath of God? The wrath of God is real and our names were on those cups. We had to die and suffer that brutality of the cross of Calvary, we had to be punished and whipped for our sin and we should of hung on that tree. But He gave His life so that we can walk in His righteousness and to have a clean slate! 

He is coming back to judge His bride! We are not excluded from that judgement! The goats will be separated from the sheep. He is coming for those whose lamps are filled with oil, and the rest will burn in the furnace of eternal fire. 

Are we ready? 

Are our hands clean and are our lips refrained from every idol word? 

Do we walk in righteousness before God and before man and not just man alone? 

His eyes are looking to and fro. And the standard is high to follow Him! He said deny yourself and pick up your cross! He said if we love our family more than Him then we are not worthy of following Him!

Oh Jesus show us the true You and not just what we have been taught about You! Let us encounter the fiery One who burns for His bride!

He wants us to be holy! He wants us to be burning for Him!  The standard is high to follow Him, but He gave us the Holy Spirit to help us! He wants a relationship with us, having eyes and a heart just for Him! There is forgiveness, but turn to Him whole heartedly before it is too late. Time is running out, and Jesus Christ is coming back to fetch His bride. Not a bride who wavers to and fro, not a bride who has dirty garments, but one who is lovesick for her Bridegroom!

He is beautiful! He is terrible! He has fire in His eyes! He has fire in His eyes!

People get ready! Jesus is coming!
